This interesting project was conducted for the Department of Economic Development and Transportation in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Our brief was to look at the current tourism industry and create a five-year model that would allow growth in this important economic sector and build access to the global distribution system. The work is positive, and while there are a number of significant impediments to development in this sector, there is a very definitive path that communities can follow to bring some local activity to this important piece of the local economic mosaic.
